Tips For Planning a Skydiving Proposal
If your vision is to get on bended knee moments after your partner lands, then we can help facilitate that. Creating this moment does take some planning, so here are the steps to make it happen.
STEP 1 | Contact Us
The first step in setting the stage for your proposal is to let us know in advance! Our team will coordinate with you to help formulate the plan so that when you arrive, we can help you get ready with discretion. Contact us online or call us at (844) 759-3483.
STEP 2 | Create a Banner
It’s not necessary, but it certainly adds to the excitement! Create a HUGE banner reading “{NAME}, Will You Marry Me?” While flying thousands of feet above, your tandem instructor will perfectly position the flight path to ensure your partner clearly sees the message below. Be sure to purchase a media package to ensure the tandem instructor documents your partner’s reaction once the realization sets in that the message on the ground is for them!
To coordinate the placement of the banner, we recommend that you deliver it to the skydive center prior to your scheduled jump. On the day of your jump, once you and your fiancé-to-be have taken off, our team will position the banner in the landing area.
To ensure that the person doing the proposing lands first, we’ll make sure he/she exits first and lands first with enough time to get prepared for the big ask! Once your partner lands, the stage is yours!
STEP 3 | Purchase a Media Package
Once your partner lands, you’ll want to be sure someone is present to document it all! Your tandem instructors will transform from life-saving adventurists to your personal photographers documenting your biggest moment!
Pro Tip: Gents: Ladies never like to be proposed to at basketball or football games even if they love sports. Don’t do it!
